Betting in Vegas? Here Are The Best Betting Lounges to Visit

We list the best sportsbooks to visit when you're in Vegas and you want to place a bet or two

If you are hitting Vegas for a sports betting weekend anytime soon, first off, congrats. You are about to have the time of your life.

Before sports betting apps existed and you could send off a wager from your couch, hitting Vegas and visiting the different sports books was one of the most fun ways to bet. Now that sports betting is more popular than ever before, there are incredible sports book lounges like you’ve never seen before as casinos invest millions and millions of dollars to stay competitive.

You can go on a mini tour of the sports books and pretty much fill your entire three-day Vegas trip at this point. Each of them has something unique and fun, and I am sure that many will want you to come back for more.

Here are, in no particular order, the best sports books to visit. General seating is typically complementary and first-come, first-serve. As sportsbooks add on to their massive operations, some are building out luxury boxes and suites which do require payment and a reservation.

Circa Sportsbook

When it comes to Circa’s sports books, they take “watching it on the big screen” very seriously. It features a giant 78-million-pixel screen that can be seen from further locations in the casino. Circa sportsbook is capable of accommodating up to 1000 guests for viewing the games.

It looks like NASA in there as sports fans roll into the book and lay down massive bets while watching games on what looks like a command center thanks to all the different screens. Circa attracts some serious high rollers into their casino thanks to some of the contests they host which require a high buy-in.

Westgate Las Vegas

The Westgate sports book is pretty classic. The main attraction is the 20 feet by 220 feet long LED video wall. It feels like it goes on for miles and miles and miles. There is nothing like sitting in there on a college football Saturday when there are 25 different games going and the sportsbook has you covered on a marathon screen.

However, the real reason why Westgate is so popular and maybe why you’ve heard of it is because of their betting odds. Westgate offers some of the best odds out of any sports book and many publications run with their odds when they put them out on websites and magazines. With great odds and complimentary drinks for their over 400 seated guests, what’s not to love?

Wynn Race and Sports Book

If you are looking to join a lively, wild crowd then Wynn is the spot for you. Sports bettors have been coming to the Wynn for decades to place bets on their favorite sports and especially horse racing.

Wynn is an older book that lacks size and screen space, but it does make up for that with passionate bettors who bring the noise and the energy. Let’s just go ahead and call Wynn the Fenway Park of sports books.

Wynn encourages horse betting, so much so that you are given complimentary drinks if you spend just $20 on horse races or $150 on sports events.

The Venetian Race & Sports Book

The Venetian sits right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip making its sports book the prime central location for a meeting spot if you are in town and have groups staying in different places. The sportsbook looks more like a call center than an entertainment lounge, but don’t let that deceive you.

It looks like this so you can sit at a chair, make bets and watch games right in front of you on personal screens or look up at the massive wall of LED screens that can accommodate up to 42 games at a time. Most expert bettors love the Venetian Race and Sports Book for this very nature that they can close off and focus on a game that they have money on.

Caesars Sportsbook at The LINQ

If you are looking for a more fan-centric, sports bar kind of atmosphere, look no further than the Caesar Sports Book at the Linq. They have a full-blown fan cave that features TVs as large as 98-inches. You can settle down on any of their incredibly inviting and comfortable couches, or you can hit the video game section and jump on an Xbox, PS5, or enter the world of virtual reality.

There are iPads spread out around the venue so that you can place bets, order refreshments, and even turn on the games you are interested in. With Guy Fieri’s kitchen connected to the joint, it makes for one of the fun lounges in the city that takes innovation to the next level.

BetMGM Sportsbook at Mirage

High energy, high energy, high energy. That’s what The Mirage will offer you when you step through the doors looking to place a sports bet. They don’t boast the largest screens or more TVs than any other sports book, but they make up for that with boisterous fans, a small and intimate sports atmosphere, and a classic sports bar that is right next door to the venue.

There is a ton of seating at the Mirage where you can place bets through BetMGM apps or you can wander up to the counter and wager that way.

Caesars Palace Race and Sports Book

Don’t mistake the Caesar Palace sports book for the one which we previously described at the Linq. While that one is much more fan-friendly and inviting to any and all, the sports book at the Caesars Palace resort is for top-notch bettors in a very classic and iconic sports book atmosphere.

This book does charge for seating which attracts a serious crowd of bettors who want to watch the game in a more professional atmosphere than some other spots on the strip.

There is a massive video that stretches the length of the book and it makes for the ultimate March Madness watch party or an NFL Sunday where you can ride down from your room and fire off bets left and right.

Stadium Swim

This has to be the most unique and different sports book in Las Vegas and we absolutely love it. Stadium Swim looks more like a day club than a sports book. It is open year-round and features stadium seating, a massive swimming pool, cabanas, a live DJ, and so many other features that will make you feel like you’re at the hottest club in Vegas while also giving you the option to place bets and watch the games.

If you are a younger group that maybe has some who want to party and lay out by the pool while others want to spend the whole trip in the casino and sports book, this is the ultimate compromise. The 40-foot wall and more than 370 beach chairs will give you an incredible experience.

Green Valley Ranch Race & Sports Book

This is a local sports book that is located off the strip, but many consider it their favorite place to wager thanks to its cheap room prices, drink options, and sports bar. Basically, Green Valley Ranch may not be ideal if you are staying on the strip and in town for just a few days, but if you are staying off of it or visiting a friend who lives in the area, this is a first-class and iconic sports book.

Green Valley has incredibly cheap drinks with a sports bar that is located inside the sportsbook. They also have video poker screens where you can play and take advantage of great sports book odds at the same time. This isn’t necessarily a flashy sportsbook, but it’s a fun place to hang out.

BetMGM Sportsbook at ARIA

What’s better than watching live sports right from your living room? Watching live sports in a sportsbook that feels like your living room. That’s the kind of comfort that The Aria provides for its customers. This is a quieter sports book with fewer big screens and less of an atmosphere, but it is great if you are just looking for a casual Sunday to watch the games and enjoy the action while putting some action on the games.

The Aria offers odds from BetMGM which you can place at the counter or on an app. You are sure to enjoy a laid-back Sunday at the Aria or sneak away from the louder books to watch March Madness and then hit the sack!
